I am Thea van der Merwe, an intuitive energy and spiritual healer working at the intersection of the physical and the subtle. My work supports deep, holistic healing across body, mind, emotion, and spirit. Through energy healing, shamanic practice, intuitive insight, and spiritual coaching, I create a space where your system can begin to release, realign, and return to balance in its own time and way—supporting a more integrated sense of holistic wellbeing.

Reiki forms the steady current beneath this work—subtle, precise, and inherently wise. Alongside this, my lifelong connection to crystals brings an anchoring presence, bridging the physical and the energetic, the seen and the unseen.

My path into this work began through my own search for healing, which led me beyond conventional approaches and into a deeper understanding of the body’s innate wisdom. That experience continues to inform how I hold space for others—with respect, patience, and trust in each individual’s process.

I work intuitively, allowing each session to unfold according to what is needed rather than following a fixed structure. The focus is not on “doing” healing, but on facilitating the conditions in which healing can naturally occur.

At its core, my work is about supporting you in reconnecting with your own inner intelligence—where clarity, balance, and transformation arise from within, and where a more aligned, elevated way of living becomes possible.

I am nationally and internationally registered with the Reiki Guild South Africa, The South African Reiki Masters Association and The Reiki Healing Association respectively. These are professional associations for the local and global Reiki communities, working to promote the wide-reaching practice and healing effects of Reiki throughout the world and where the primary philosophy is that together, we can do so much more.
